Church Finance
During the “homeless” period it is very important that we are able to maintain our regular giving. If you are accustomed to giving cash (i.e. not in an envelope) would you please consider using an envelope so that even if we are with another congregation offerings for Trinity can easily be separated. Also, some members have been contributing regularly to the Development Scheme through the use of special envelopes or direct debits. Immense gratitude is expressed for without these gifts the current developments would not be possible. Both ways continue to be available; if you would like to contribute please speak to Sue Wood, church treasurer.

We are now officially a FAIR TRADE CHURCH

Following the decision of the February Church Council to apply to be “certified” as a Fair Trade Church, we have now been awarded this status by the Fair Trade Foundation. This means we are committed to using fairly traded tea, coffee and working towards and committing to using as many fairly traded products as possible. We are committed to advocating fair trade amongst users of our premises.

Birthdays

Following a discussion with Marjorie, as Baptismal Roll Secretary, we have agreed to publicize in Trinity News the children’s birthdays of those baptized at Trinity, and to remind us all of our responsibility towards those children and their families. Up to the age of five, the children are sent a birthday card from the church.

Congratulations to Ewan, who is 5 this month.

JERUSALEM JOY

This musical treatment with catchy tunes by Roger Jones traces the journey of Jesus and his disciples from “Jesus set his face to go to Jerusalem” to “He’s not here! He is risen!”
