Fair Trade
Traidcraft is a trading company committed to the business of 'Fair Trade' and is a Christian response to poverty. Colin & Sandra Ride are Traidcraft 'key contact' representatives. It was established in 1979 to fight poverty through 'just trade' and to campaign for better trading conditions for the world's poor. Traidcraft Exchange is a charity owned by Traidcraft and works with poor people to help them win a fair share of world trade. By selling their products and providing support Traidcraft plc help craftworkers and farmers across Africa, Asia and Latin America build a better future for themselves. We challenge and encourage all individuals, families, churches, community groups and businesses to join this campaign through purchasing fair trade products either from us or supermarkets. We are happy to supply goods for church & community events, or to bring a stall along ourselves.
